Mine told me it needed an update.
1.Did the update
2.Quitted the app
3.Restarted the app all worked perfectly and then downloaded the updates to my instruments
4.,Once they download via Korg Software pass you then install them manually.
5.Although only AU on Mac, couldn't see VST2,3 versions in my Ableton Live Suite

To those getting the "unable to download" message from within Korg Soft Pass try again. It just suddenly started working for me.

The new version of the synths work just fine on my Win7 machine, in standalone mode and as VSTs.

Korg Software Pass, however, has never worked properly for me. It still says I have to download the v1.x version of the synths, but when I try to download any of them, it says it can't start the download. I had to log into the Korg ID site and download and install the v2.x versions, like some caveman. But they all look and work great, so I'm not complaining!

Thanks, @Teksonik. Looks like you posted that while I was writing my post. I'll try that when there are any updates to the new versions posted.

I was going to post here asking if anyone else was getting the "unable to download" message and went to take a screenshot of the error message and the downloads suddenly started working. I'm wondering if it was just a server maintenance issue on Korg's side.

I didn't do anything here to cause it to suddenly start working.

Regarding version 2 manuals, got this reply:

Yes, the manual is not updated. Since the functionary isn't changed so much, so please refer the ver 1.0 manual.

I guess the only update to the manual would be bigger GUI..+more included presets.

Damn, the old manuals are too tiny to read, we need size-adjustable manuals...

There are new updates in the Korg Software pass app now, and after running them, the Wavestation and MonoPoly crashes have indeed been resolved!

KORG did a great job in addressing people's reports quickly and efficiently, awesome work.

I am finding that with M1 V2, you cannot save or load banks as described in the user manual.

Can anyone else confirm this or is there some trick to saving banks with the M1....

They forgot to put an MS-20 manual on the website.
I remember exactly what the original MS-20 was a few years ago!

Downloaded the updates from my Korg account (don't use Software Pass here).

Polysix, MS-20, MonoPoly and Wavestation have all been updated.

even starting the korg software pass, on closing, it deletes the temp directory in windows. there are many temp directories in windows, programs use also there own temp folders, or windows. but this is the main temp directory.
it can lead to problems. but it is a temp directory. do not have other programs open.

It took me forever to find the new UI options in some of the plugins, could have done with a manual tbh, but maybe I'm just thick. Turns out they are in one of two places. Either:

1. Under three dots top right hand side. Or:
2. Under a Utility menu, which appears on the fake on-screen display which emulates the original screen of the synth.

One other thing - Cubase blacklisted the Polysix synth. I manually restored it and all seems fine, but did other Cubase 10.5 users get this?

You have the same 4 as me. Have you loaded any old projects and seeing if the presets load properly? Mine load just as init patch on Polysix and MonoPoly.
