The "Even more creative possibilities with ARA2 support" will it be as good or better that in Studio One?
I wonder if the "Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 6 + version 7 upgrade" means the Version 7 upgrade is free.
My guess is that Studio One 5 will be out in late May 2020.
If so would be great to compare the two DAW's

Interestingly enough, I was just going to upgrade my Samp X4 365 sub to an annual sub at a discount price, only to find that Samp 365 is nowhere to be found on their website!
Perhaps simply a few days of revising web to reflect the program upgrade, but I'm cautiously watching as to whether my Samp 365 sub continues on 'and' has an auto upgrade to the new X5 as it should by the wording of that agreement i.e. 'stay current on updates and upgrades . . . blah, blah, blah'

Oh man.
Miss Samplitude soo much.
Miss Samplitude soo much.
- It makes Logic feel clunky and disjointed.
- But then on the other side Logic makes Samplitude feel like an Alpha version of software in terms of stability.

Have you guys tried Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro version 7? Is it better than Spectral Cleaning of Samp?

Samp is super powerful for sure and I like it, but would it kill Magix to work on the UI and drag it somewhere this side of 2004?
He tried to play bass.

Man I just bought the upgrade for Prox4 like a month ago and now I am seeing that they are offering if you buy now, you can get a free upgrade to Prox5. Does anybody know if they will honor recent purchases for this upgrade?
It's hard for me to shell out more after just upgrading so recently. The inclusion of Spectral editing is really appealing. Is this available already in V4? I know it was in older versions but thought they replaced it with Sound Forge or something and I never use that.

I tested prox 5. Performance is pretty much the same as prox 4.

Hi all,
I have two issues so far after about one hour of testing of Pro X5 Trial.
1) When working with VSTs, the first thing that happens (every time Pro X5 Trial is launched) is that "Waiting for Shop" is displayed, followed by an unacceptable amount of delay before anything else can be done and before short plugin scan occurs. This does not happen with Pro X4. This new behavior is really annoying.
2) SampleTank4 VST3 transposes notes after Save/Load of a project just as it did for me with Pro X4. After one transposition, it appears that there are no further transpositions. VST2 works fine. I believe that this is not a SampleTank problem, but rather a Pro X4/X5 problem.
Anyone else have either of these problems? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Dave Clark

Did Samplitude at one time have something similar to the Wavelab Montage?

Or am I remembering something that never happened?
