Huh!? It's interesting that it's either LEFT Ctrl+Alt+L or RIGHT Alt+L (without Ctrl). I never knew that :)
I never knew about this, but it also doesn't work on mac, maybe because alt is option on mac?

alt+l deletes a clip on my macbook :)

Right ALT, often called ALTGR, is a combination of ALT and CTRL in general.

What it does is hiding the lower pane, which is not really a lower pane when you drag border of the the midi editor to the top, but still.

Well, I know it NOW, but I didn't few hours ago and I've been using computers for over 30 years :D

Wow. In all this time using it, I never realized that ctrl+alt+l behaved differently for the clip and track detail views. Combined with shift+tab it works exactly as it should. Live never ceases to amaze me, nor the fact that I can miss something like this. Thanks .jon!

Hmm, that is interesting, I never knew that, either.
Unfortunately I can't confirm fot this behaviour to work for me on Windows 10. Right Alt + L doesn't do anything in Live, neither in Windows OS (I've tried right Alt + Delete, to be replacement for Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and it doesn't work like that).
Is there any option that engage this right Alt to behave like Ctrl+Alt?

edit: as far I've used right Alt only to insert special characters on keyboard but never knew it can replace Ctrl+Alt. Can anybody else test this behavior ?

Thanks.
