In Ableton, a lot of the ones I tried had configurable parameters, whereas on Maschine/Kontakt it seems to be much more restrictive.
Anybody else have any experience using SFM on Maschine/Kontakt?

Hi, I picked up the massive Samples from Mars pack a while back and am struggling wrapping my head around the workflow for Maschine.
In Ableton, a lot of the ones I tried had configurable parameters, whereas on Maschine/Kontakt it seems to be much more restrictive.
Anybody else have any experience using SFM on Maschine/Kontakt?

Not on Maschine, but on Kontakt I use SFM most of the time. (I think Maschine can open Kontakt files if Im not mistaken)
If you are using the drums its fine. Everything is laid out as a normal samples are in a Kontakt instrument. The synths are different animals.... most are monophonic in nature

Thanks, I know that when loading some of the synths into Ableton, I was able to tweak them end everything was mapped out, but feels that the samples on Kontakt are just that, straight samples.
