i still prefer them, and now they are cheaper, i like all the formats, including mp3.

I didn’t. I like CDs. They sound much warmer than those downloads and streams.

I had those plastic racks, which either went to the trash, or reside in the basement now.

I really hated how much space they take, if I think about it now.

I like how this thing is so similar to the situation with synthesizers.

MP3 = soft synth, CD = virtual analog, vinyl = analog.

They don't take nearly as much space as shellac vinyl though.

Yeah. How good that I never owned more than 10 vinyl records.

Never was a fan of all that crackling, humming and cracking. I had a lot of tapes though.
