Korg Collection (V2.0 released, GUI update!)

Korg makes some great plug ins, but can't say much about their software quality control. Korg Software pass still does not work, it just tells me to update, and when I do, to update again. I just manually downloaded plugin updates from my account.

Plus the process to originally register them from a previous version when I first bought them was also a nightmare. Hope they shape up and get some more competence in the software department. Oh well, at least I can buy them.. unlike Roland..

I'm on a Mac and when I update using the Korg Software Pass it automatically downloads the installer, you can also download directly from your account. It works in a similar way to the Arturia Software Centre where you install/uninstall/register/demo/buy. The only difference is running the installer that I can see.

This is what I found by loading the projects after saving them with selected presets.

FL Studio 20.6 - All recalls except MS-20 and Polysix reset to first preset. Mono/Poly also reset to the "on off" preset!
S1 4.6 - All recalls fine
Bitwig 3.1 - All recalls except Legacy Cell reset to first preset!
Reaper 5.99 - All recalls fine
Maschine 2.10 - All recalls fine!
Live 9 intro - All recalls, except Legacy Cell init all presets! It also keeps crashing when I exit!
Cubase 10.5 Elements - All recalls except Monopoly it crashes Cubase just to choose a preset by double clicking in the browser. Legacy Cell reset to first preset.
Reason 10 intro - Recalls all except Polysix, MS-20 reset to first preset, Mono/Poly to "on off" preset! Legacy Cell reset to first preset!

p.s. I don't know about Triton.

Thanks for testing. I think Wavestation also does not load preset correctly after reopening FL Studio project, right? At least I observed it once and I own it. So, basically, all the main synths have problem in FL Studio!

Still works.
Although my VCO2 switch has stopped working. A bit out of my territory but I guess a screwdriver may be needed and an internet search

So are the previous older plugs replaced/deleted? Somehow this removed my older ones?

BTW is it me or there is a sound difference in the Wavestation?

I thought there was a slight difference, but it's probably just the effect of a having a new usable interface with a few new sounds.

The placebo effect - bigger interface = bigger sound

I felt there was a difference..either in volume or some other frequency domain. We'll never know as I couldn't compare with my previous as it was deleted.

But one problem with Wavestation is not being able to use keyboard arrows to navigate presets. It is possible in all others. Could you please verify?

If memory serves those LEDs only worked when in stand alone mode in the previous version. Are you using the plugin?

i was using the plugin
yes, now i recall - you are correct IIRC
but,
unfortunaletely - just tried the standalone v2.0.4: it does NOT work
too bad

anyway: what massive fun it is using the controller again
despite being the probably lousiest keyboard ever...
