I have both but Byome is my go to in most situations. Besides the more streamlined layout, Triad doesn't have a master AGC setting like Byome. (It sounds like a minor thing but it's a HUGE workflow boost.)SLiC wrote: Mon Apr 13, 2020 12:28 pm Its pretty much always on sale one way or another at PA (vouchers etc) and normally lots in by and sell.
I personally can't think of a reason to buy BYOME however now that Triad is out, you may as well have the multiband split, you dint need both but many of us upgraded from BYOME- If I was buying again I would only buy Triad.

BYOME's AGC is one of its best features. It can act like a snappy compressor if you want it to. Said it before but I'd love it as a module you could put anywhere in the signal path.ohwell wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 11:49 pmI have both but Byome is my go to in most situations. I stuck with byome as I prefer it's streamlined workflow and found if I ever did want to mess with things multibandily I can do that easily with Element and a band splitter (currently using hornets vst).

Hi!
I'm currently trying Byome and love it BUT…
I have issues with OpenGL (because my laptop is damn old) and despite the fact that I can read on the manual there is an option to disable it, for a reason I don't have that option in Byome settings.
I'm using the last PA version, 1.1.2.
I tried with VST2, VST3 and AU. Same absence of option regarding openGL.
Thanks for your help!

Sure BYOME can serve you just fine and the AGC is awesome, just don't overlook TRIAD completely.. the UNITY and Spectral Snapping make it great to work with.

I've lost track of what to install to have the latest update, beta or from the latest official installer? I can't find info on version when I open the plugin. I tried looking through the last couple of pages here but I found littke info on this. Same goes for the other Unfiltered Audio plugins.
