I remember a John Fahey track where he just stopped playing to tell his dog to shut up. Now I am going to have to look for it.

Don't worry about the Bark...Just wanted to know. My dog keeps running after cars and will not bark when I ask her to.
But...
Stop her chasing cars NOW.
I Just Lost one who liked to do that ..... and no matter how much you think they know to stay away from the wheels ..... They don't. The wheel got her.
Stop Her from doing the same thing ....No Cars.

A place i use to work was basically in some old converted farm sheds, but the rest of the farm was still 'as normal'. Everyday i used to drive in the yard past a big old pond, and this pack of vicious evil big fuckin geese used to chase my car and go nuts at the wheels
apparently it was cos they could see their reflection in the hubcaps
Mad f**kers anyway, god knows how i never killed one...
so yeah, erm, stop ya dog chasing cars.

geese make excellent guard dogs. Okay they don't bark too good but they chase away any trespassers, very territorial...I know this cos we used to have one as a pet many moons ago (along with the rest of Noah's Ark)

to record a barking, just ask your bed partner at the right time.
excellent results. with me, anyway.

Well, if were to burgle a place with geese guarding the property, it seems that the only decoy I'd need would be a mirror - they'd all start attacking the reflection, leaving me to pilfer the swag...CypherOne wrote:geese make excellent guard dogs. next door neighbours dog here likes to bark,
if I go out to the bins he barks, to the car, open the window, sometimes when I'm looking for a patch on a synth, oh and he's on quite a few of my recordings whether I want it or not
it's 1:45am here and he's barking at the possums, my missus will be furious .
and it's started to rain so he'll be barking at that. I think you get the picture
