This looks really interesting. I have hundreds of patches organized into various Omni 'Projects' that I created for the purpose of easily finding particular groups of patches. Does this leave that Project structure intact, with all the re-named and re-categorized patches still in personal Projects?

Over 12500 patches were "conformed" for me. Also, just a FYI, the bonus library wasn't in the download.

Thanks! I installed it. No issues. I don't just "collect" libraries, I actually really like the sounds in there, so it was a "genuine" request when I couldn't find it. We all know many preset collectors, lol. This program was some of the best spent money this year. I'm very, very pleased.

Yes, for anyone asking, the bonus library is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\OmniTag\bonus\OmniTag Bonus Library.omnisphere

There is a readme.txt file that explains this after the installation, and also a message that should pop up, but maybe there is a problem and some people aren't seeing it.

The bonus library is located in your OmniTag program folder, which by default is at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\OmniTag\bonus\OmniTag Bonus Library.omnisphere

Follow these steps to install:
1. Open Omnisphere, click Utility -> Install .omnisphere
2. Choose the .omnisphere file: C:\Program Files (x86)\OmniTag\bonus\OmniTag Bonus Library.omnisphere
3. Click Open, and then OK.

Sorry for the haitus, I've spent a while testing and digging around, and as far as I can tell this info is copied across ok after the usual patch refresh in the Omni browser. I did a bunch of tests and checked the code, and it all looks good. However, I want to be 100% sure so I'm going to spend a bit more time with it tomorrow to make sure I can't break it under particular circumstances - I never use Projects myself so just want to make completely sure all the data is safe. So often with PAS or GAS, we think that the next plugin/gear is going to improve our production/process and it ends up not living up to the (unrealistic)expectation. OmniTag helped. Simple.

So I've spent some time today creating projects using patches from a variety of third party libraries and factory, and adding ratings to these also as I know others were concerned there too. And the result is good news - everything in the projects and all ratings are retained, even when OmniTag renames the patch to remove a unecessary prefix.

Of course if anyone does encounter any gremlins, let us know. We're aware there's a few more prefixes in some of PluginGuru's libraries that aren't being detected, that's something that we'll have an update for very shortly I think.

OmniTag backs up everything as a matter of course, but if you're in any way concerned there's no harm in making a copy of the entire Patches folder within STEAM/Omnisphere/Settings Library before running it.

Just a heads up that an update has just been released, with a new option.

As part of OmniTag's mission to harmonise everything, it has been tidying up prefixes in patch names (such as PAD or KEYS). These aren't the Spectrasonics convention, since that info should always be in their tags, so renaming is best for those who want a completely uniform Factory-Library-style experience.

However, some 3rd party developers have named their patches with these specific, carefully chosen prefixes in mind, all designed so their individual library works best within itself. We figured that some users might well agree, and feel that for some libraries they'd rather keep the existing full names with prefixes intact (whilst changing the categories and tags as needed).

So in v1.0.20, users now have the option. Users can now either fix a global behaviour, or get to choose for each individual library.

I discovered that subconsciously I was ok with prefixes that were not all capitalized.
That is Pads, Bass, Keys were fine for me whereas PAD, BASS, KEY were not .
