So Arturia is also a No buy
Just to note that one doesn't need to visit the Arturia website or email their support team to deactivate. It's done through the Arturia Software Center application on the computer.
I've got about a dozen vst 'software centers' on my computer right now. Would like to ditch at least half of them.

That's fascinating (didn't know there were a dozen companies with enough of a catalog to warrant something like Arturia Software Center). Why only half? Sounds to me like you want to ditch everything you've already paid for and then buy everything from every company that doesn't have the limitations you don't like.
