Thanks! What kind of features are we talking about during the polls?XxEDxX wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 2:32 pmI'd like to jump in here and say that during the free phase there were talks and polls about features that could change that. I hope they're adding those in with an update because then it would be a no-brainer. I'm going to further demo the release version now before writing anything morejinotsuh wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 4:59 am...and not least of all that the sound is no better than the IR Loaders I use now...What I can say for now: it's stable, it's clean, it's intuitive and CPU hits only rarely when changing some major settings.

If I remember correctly there were features planned making the IR less static. More interaction of the incoming/outgoing signal with properties of the IR itself. Phase modulation, "angle knob", poweramp speaker interaction (dynamic resonance), in general constant clever randomization/jitter.forwardaudio wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 8:08 pmThanks! Btw tried it some more and there is not much to complain so far, besides the price. Havn't used it in a real project only in test cases but worked well and integrated well into my workflow. GUI is sometimes a bit sluggish (noticed when switching ASIO settings between recording/mixing) and I too agree the browser navigation is a bit clumsy.

Thanks, Mike! Always great to read your posts.mike_the_ranger wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 6:37 pm Of course there's always room for improvement, like for CPU usage but on the other hand I've not needed to load it on 10 guitar tracks or so but a few busses. I'm sure the videos below will shed light into that.RobinWood wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 1:31 pm I'm not sure what this compare section is about. It's a whole subsection but effectively has 2 controls. Okay comparing your mixed IR to something else is one application but why is then copied to a slot when consolidating? It's not clear to me what purpose this section has or even if it is already finished.
Something like this? :kidslow wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 7:05 pm May there be a vibrant community who puts out videos and shows me what I'm missing, seriously.

it's not really stable though because it's been crashing and the parameters are really choppy when you try to automate them. If u move them too quick, the system hiccups and i've never heard any plugin do that before really.
If that didn't happen, i'd want this a lot more. I really hope that part will be updated. I still like this, although it's not as "stable" as claimed. I'm still demoing it now but certain knobs like the bend and such make my system for crazy and i have a lot a ram and that rarely happens even though the cpu isn't reaching over 40 or like 50%

Thanks. Definitely not my workflow then. And I question why the keyboard handling is not just available to all slotsforwardaudio wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2020 2:44 amI'm sure the videos below will shed light into that.RobinWood wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 1:31 pm I'm not sure what this compare section is about. Yes. It has an export button.AC222 wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 3:00 am Does this allow you to export your favorite IR blends to a new singular .wav file for use with another IR loader?

Good Question. Also good question: If you have keyboard available for all slots, how do you determine which slot gets the keyboard input. The one you've touched recently? The one the mouse is hovering over? Maybe additional keyboard buttons on every slot. It all can get quite messy. And also the Compare IR is the logical choice as it's built to make quick A/B comparisons without compromising the X/Y mix.RobinWood wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 3:14 pm And I question why the keyboard handling is not just available to all slotsAlso I'd suggest to make the "compare mix reacts to scrollwheel from everywhere" an option in the system page. As a mac user touching the scrollwheel accidentally is quite easy and just results in undefined behavior.
I totally understand the comment about scroll wheels on Mac, though. Doing this optionally is always an option

Thank you for the constructive feedback, TDVV! Running "stable" is a very relative term. We've had a very long beta testing phase and so far it's running "stable" on "a lot" of systems.TDVV wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 1:02 am it's not really stable though because it's been crashing and the parameters are really choppy when you try to automate them. Every system is how ever, a unique entity and improvements and fixes are an ongoing process. As you seem to experience minor issues could you provide us with more details on your system specs / DAW via mail / our contact form?

Here's a tutorial from Federico Ascari. I think he explains the plug-in in a great way.

Thanks! The mouse wheel issues on Mac are now solved with version 1.00.002. For workflow speed, can we request the ability to drag and drop samples out of the modules onto other modules? and possibly out of the plugin itself? I think that'd be a fun idea, but i also think the "choppiness" or jerkiness of the menus should be fixed first
but above all to fix is the bit-crushing type artifact u get when u get to mangle with a parameters a bit... I like this plugin and i bought it lol, but that part gets in the way at times the most

Already possible: .TDVV wrote: Tue May 05, 2020 5:57 pm For workflow speed, can we request the ability to drag and drop samples out of the modules onto other modules? and possibly out of the plugin itself?
Dragging it out the plugin is a completely different deal, though.

I got this during the current sale and I have to say there's a crispness and clarity to running IRs through this that I can't find elsewhere. Other IR mixers seem to make things much more mellow. Maybe it's the automatic alignment?
Preset saving and such is a bit clunky it you're not using default folders (you can set an IR folder but it will assume you want your presets there too) and you can't morph quite as smoothly as in other plug-ins (occasional bumps in the sound), but the resulting sound and features are amazing.
