Still loving those screeching MS20 filters, there's nothing quite like them! They either work or don't work in a track, but you always know what you are going to achieve characterwise.
I think the KLC has taken on a new relevance with this update as GUI size and design are so important nowadays. Programming is so much more pleasant when you can see what you are doing without scrolling or changing screen resolutions. The competition is strong but I'm pleased Korg haven't shelved these synths to move on to new pastures, I like the individuality of their sounds and the accuracy to the originals. I'm even tempted to get the MonoPoly now and I'm sure they have a few more classics lined up for modelling?

I have the full set of instruments and find the Monopoly and Odyssey bit heavy on CPU use,the opposite applies to Wavestation,Ms20,Polysix and the M1 they're excellent on the cpuHemmick Reef wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:15 am Still loving those screeching MS20 filters, there's nothing quite like them! M/P is quite light on CPU, Odyssey is the most intensive but also sounds the best.

Having a problem that support replies to but doesn't acknowledge.
In the stand-alone version of Odyssey, it opens with a default of "Windows Audio". When I try to change it to ASIO, it shows it has stopped working and closes.
Korg says no one has reported such an issue. (Even though I just had.) After three tries at reinstalling both the drivers and the plugin itself, I get the same result. And Korg has stopped replying after the third email to them.
Bear in mind, that the rest of their collection is working under ASIO with no issue, and that all, including Odyssey, default to my DAWs' ASIO drivers.
This also happened to one other plugin from a different company that was only fixed by them updating that plugin in the next version.
Any ideas?

I don't run them on Windows, but I assume they store their settings in the registry? Maybe take a look at the settings in the registry for one of the plugins that has the correct driver and make the Odyssey device setting match that.
Not ideal, but hopefully it should at least get it working.

Checked registry before contacting them. Doesn't show any string for any of them denoting driver. And all strings show the exact same information. Thanks for checking I did that.

I only learned about this update today...but the downloads don't work in Software Pass, or on id.korg.net
I get 'can not start downloading the file error' on the pass and a website error on korg.net...
Has KORG said there is a problem? Anyone have a answer for this?
Longtime Korg Legacy Collectio user.
Thanx.

Have you checked the Event Viewer for any error or warning related?BBFG# wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 4:52 pm Checked registry before contacting them. Doesn't show any string for any of them denoting driver. And all strings show the exact same information. Thanks for checking I did that.

Which version of Odissey is that? Here I am running version 1.1.0 (9) and I have no problems with the standalone. But I'm in Windows 7 though.BBFG# wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 4:40 pm Having a problem that support replies to but doesn't acknowledge.

Okay, checked the Event Viewer and the Plugin version itself.
Event viewer shows: 1.0.0.0
Odyssey Plugin shows: 1.1.0(9)
Korg Pass shows: 1.1.2.0
I uninstalled everything again and this time search all drives for remaining information and deleted those folder/files as well. Rebooted/re-downloaded through the Pass and re-installed.
Same result.
I'm sending all this to Korg as well (along with the full event log), but still no reply - so far...

Some lesser positive feedback on the actual upgrade transaction on the Korg shop.
Dollars are in US (even though your correct country is showing). How dumb or crooked can one be to not even bother showing the currency until you have actually ordered the product later in your email.
As a Canadian, we have the same $ sign, usually if it's not in your currency, it should be
mentioned.
This is on the verge for me.
