hwhalen wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 5:36 pm I only learned about this update today...but the downloads don't work in Software Pass, or on id.korg.net
I get 'can not start downloading the file error' on the pass and a website error on korg.net...

Has KORG said there is a problem? Anyone have a answer for this?
Longtime Korg Legacy Collectio user.

Thanx.
I have the same problem, but haven't seen anything from Korg on this and no one here has even commented on my posts about it. Suffice it to say you're not alone. Hopefully Korg will fix it, but in the mean time, you should still be able to download the updates directly from the website. That's what most of us have done. If you're having trouble there, try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.

BBFG# wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 8:21 pm Okay, checked the Event Viewer and the Plugin version itself.

Event viewer shows: 1.0.0.0
Odyssey Plugin shows: 1.1.0(9)
Korg Pass shows: 1.1.2.0

I uninstalled everything again and this time search all drives for remaining information and deleted those folder/files as well. Rebooted/re-downloaded through the Pass and re-installed.

Same result.
I'm sending all this to Korg as well (along with the full event log), but still no reply - so far...
If you uninstall your hardware Asio driver and install Asio4All for example, do you still have the same problem?
I'm just thinking of an Asio driver problem. But anyway, it sure also relates to Korg as it works for you with other instruments.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

All the downloads should work. Do you see the buttons for each individual synth? Are you having trouble downloading each one, or do you not even see the buttons?

Yes, I've tried Asio4All, Steinberg and Roland driver.
And with the conflicts I'm seeing of versions in different places it has to be Korg IMO.
Keep in mind it works in my DAWs.

I see all the buttons, they all lead to a page with a link that produces the error, all except
the Odyssey link, which leads to a page with two links which works.

I've reported the problem to Korg...we'll see if they respond.

Thanks again.

ARP Odyssey is working fine with me most of the times as it overloads sometimes when using a lot of unison + polyphony.
I tried to switch back and forth in Audio drivers and it lags a little bit, but less than a second. I have Asio at 128 samples buffer using Presonus iTwo but @44.1 khz sample rate. What is the default settings of your hardware Asio driver? Maybe its set too high by default?

Out of curiosity, you're not running any ad blockers or Flash blockers on those browsers, are you? I've seen blockers cause problems you wouldn't expect them to cause.

KORG sent me a link for legacycell which I then changed to all the other synths one by one and downloaded them.
Installed them etc... they are quite nice.

Thanks Steve for all your efforts. Cheers

It's a shame they didn't actually fix their downloader app or tell you what was happening. Within a month, they'll have to send you a link to download the update(s), instead of fixing the problem for everyone. ("There's never time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over", eh, Korg? :dog:)

Glad you got the updates in though. For the first 5 minutes you're using the Polysix or MS-20, you'll find yourself saying "Oh, is that what that control is?!" now that you can read them.

Have fun!
