I'm interested in possibly buying Studio One Professional. It's on sale right now for 30% off ($279). But it seems like at least once a year they offer a crossgrade (I currently use Logic) for $199. Should I buy for $279 now, or wait and hope for a $199 cross grade offer in the next couple of months?

Thanks for the help!

They have sales all the time. I would wait for the cross grade if you can.

Or buy it in the buy and sell thread for 150-175

I just saw someone selling it in the sales forum for pretty cheap. Be careful though, sometimes there are scammers there.

Just before buying 2nd hand have a look at seller's post history, maybe someone already left them feedback, etc.

Yes indeed! You can find some great prices here in the second market, but as ATS said, be careful from scammers. Never pay with family/friends option. Only pay with the protection option.

I bought one license about one week ago or so for 120 pounds, so you can find something around that price :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Why is everyone jumping ship? Is S1 going down?

Many people discover they just aren’t cut out for making music. A few of them even heed it.
