Hello all,
hoping everybody's fine in these weird times ...

Here's my entry for this month.
I picked "Tyrell N6" by U-He because its self oscillating filter is perfect for bird voices. The sounds are more or less tweaked presets (there are plenty of them in the preset folder and on the web).

24 instances of Tyrell in Cubase Elements

DAW FX:
TempoDelay,

Maximizer

other FX:

TAL Reverb 3 + 4

Good luck for all!

So I took advantage of this "Any Synth" month to work with my new synth

I'm not super happy with it, but I guess it's as finished as it's going to get. I'm pretty sure I was subconsciously influenced by the soundtrack for The Talos Principle.

Made with NI Kontour in FL Studio 20.6.2.

7 instances of Kontour.
1x Fruity Reeverb 2
2x Fruity Parametric EQ 2
2x Fruity Limiter
1x Youlean Loudness Meter 2

Note: updated Apr 30 -- made minor mixing changes.

In times when it is necessary to stay at home, it is simply a good idea to be as productive as possible. You can read books, learn new languages, or produce music - or you can do like me and start 359 new Minecraft worlds. Singleplayer is a track that represents my last three weeks very well - best weather outside, birds singing, and you sit in the basement all day playing video games :P

Now Tech Stuff:

BPM: 159.693
Key: Approximately about 5 liters

DAW: FL Studio 20
VST: Arturia Jupiter 8V
Instances: 35 – one sound per instance

Presets:
All Sounds were created from scratch, except for the Clap which is a heavily processed version from the 80´s Clap Preset by Ruff & Jam.

Synth-Internal FX:
Stereo Phaser, Stereo Chorus / Flanger, Distortion, ParamEQ,

FL Studio FX:
Fruity Parametric EQ2 [48], Fruity Limiter [4], Fruity Stereo Enhancer [11], Fruity PanOMatic [3], Fruity Convolver [5], Soundgoodizer [2], Fruity Delay 2 [4], Fruity Delay 3 (no Filter, no Modulation, no Coloring) [1]

Free 3rd Party FX:
xfer OTT [5], Manalyzer_2 [1], Auburn Sounds Couture-64 [2], TAL Reverb 2 [1]

Commercial 3rd Party FX:
Waves H-Reverb [1], Ozone 8 Elements [1]

I'm curious to listen to some entries this month. Unfortunately I quit what I was doing... I lost motivation because I thought it sounded like a rip off of the Toca Me (Inpetto 2008 Mix)...

Melda MSoundFactory - About 20 Instances along with a few Melda FX, for instance the powerfull MSpectralDynamics in the Master, MCompressor, MStereoProcessor, MReverb, MDelay, accompanied by a few Bitwig FX. Most Sounds only use the basic Oscillators nothing fancy, no Wavetables at all. Two or three sounds use the FM Osc. The Drums use the DrumOsc which is basaically up to 4 Sines and up to two Noise Sources per sound. Did not use any Chorus or Distortion FX other than the Saturators that come with the Filters in MSF.
Picked MSoundFactory because it can sound so nicely analog if you treat it right.
Tried to keep the track minimalistic - at least for what I do usually.
