And the screeching tires never seem to end...

I will change if Lester lives
Not messin' 'round just 'cause I own him
He was nearly wiped away
But he had good luck and strong bones

You made me clench my teeth
Us humans ain't got dignity
Eat my plants and steal my things
You're the head of security

how to stop dogs from chasing cars

load up a squirt gun with a mild solution of water and ammonia. start car and drive by unleashed dog while armed passenger is in back seat. as dog approaches and chases, passenger squirts dog with solution. (window rolled down, don't forget)

repeat as necessary

i'm told that works.

recording is a whole nother thing
we used to live next door to a couple with a pair of blue tick hounds. now those boys could sing and considering the number of 'tax dollars at work' sirens that went by that neighborhood, they sang a lot. they didn't bark much, tho'

I had a hard time with this recently while recording my contest entry this month. I had the dog by the mic with record on for over half an hour total. I could get him to bark, by getting him riled up/teasing with food/knocking on my desk. It was impossible to get him to howl for some reason. I would give up and take him upstairs, and then he would start howling like crazy, and then back downstairs and nothing.
The best approach I'd say is to think of what situations make the dog bark, and try to recreate those scenarios.
Good luck.
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

All great ideas. I will have to keep her away from the wheels. She will never chase my car. Someone told me that the dog think that she is chasing the cars away from her place and she will not chase me because I give her love and food. She will also never bark inhouse. She hates the neighbour kids and make a lot of noise when they walk past the gate. I think I'll get one of them to pose as bait on the weekend.

Try locking him/her in a room and play that dog-barking version of Jingle Bells over and over again.

He'll either bark or go crazy and kill you. Either way, problem solved.

If you really need a dog barking sound clip, I'm sure I could hook you up. My dog will bark if I play fight with him. He's got some serious lungs, too.

use an atomiser/mister. dogs don't like ammonia smell.. no need to clean 'em with it.

 my sources say otherwise! let's debate :D

You shouldn't bark at all while recording a dog. It'll osbscure the sound of the dog.

Sorry if late....
Maybe these will help you? With EQ, filtering and some reverb (if need be) I bet these will do the trick

Did the zip help you? If you don't need it, I am removing it in a week :P

Thanks! You can take it off again.

I got it sorry. Should have replied earlier. I downloaded it, but had to work on another project today so I have not had a chance to make my doggy-style song
