Hey

I was reminded toady of the excellent Tone2 Warmveb plugin (it was renamed to Multi-FX). When I was on PC it was my go-to as a multi-fx plugin. It got the job done in no time. It was so fast to use, with a comprehensive selection of effect types, and it sounds great. I used to string several instances in a chain for some huge textures that would take some time to achieve by using other means. Or maybe I just enjoyed it more in Warmverb, than when using individual plugins...

So...who else uses it, and more importantly who misses it on Mac as it's no longer available (for Mac in the 64 bit format)?

Personally, I would love to see a new version. I understand that there are some technical issues that prevent a 64bit Mac version, but still...such an excellent plugin deserves a new lease of life. I want it back!

I do have the 32bit Mac version, but I dread to use it as my DAW can crash under load with the 32bit bridge.

Tone2, bring it back!

I use it and quite like it. Probably my favorite multi-fx plugin besides Camel Space.

Don't care about Mac though.

I always liked the reverb. Unfortunately, the different fx modules lack a couple of features that I'm used to have in single fx plugins, so, I rarely use it. I guess that such multi fx units are rather the sum of its parts, but, so far, I didn't have much use for them.

Really a great tool that would deserve MEOWR love. Lots and lots of more love. And optional cat sticker at the GUI.

i miss it A LOT, it is a amazing plugin, i dont find a replacement under my 64 bits setup since i moved to 64 bits...

I had the original infamous phone home version and I always thought Warmverb was a misnomer. It was one of the most metallic sounding reverbs I'd ever tried. Perhaps they have improved the algorithm since then.

the build vocoder with external vocoder output was the most easy and nice sounding i ve used

Pretty sure that all Tone2 plugins still do all that shady crap on installation.

When it comes to reverb, this is definitely not a realistic mixing reverb. I think Warmverb is reminiscent of the do-it-all multi-fx hardware boxes like Alesis Midiverb or Ensoniq DP4 so you probably would want to use it as sound shaping tool rather than mixing tool. For former it's such a simple and quick tool to get some great new sounds out of a synths or a samples.

My favourite, most used multi-fx for guitar - instant shoegaze with the 1st preset.

Add in swappable FX slots, a proper browser and updated verbs etc and I don't see
how this wouldn't still be a decent seller.
But c'est la vie.

I had it installed up until my last rebuild, used it quite often, mainly on guitars, reminded me of an old multi effect box.

Byome has totally replaced it for me though in every way.

Also, I do like the reverbs in Warmverb. I think they are more than perfect for a multi-fx unit, where I would treat the reverb effect with other effects. For example, I like to use a phaser effect after reverb (and then add delays). The Tone2 reverbs have a density and a 'shiny' quality that I do like. Not suitable for realistic halls and such, but great for vast, smooth, synthetic spaces. Perfect for synth washes, I'd say.

I’ve not used it in a while, but I used to like it a lot. I bought MXXX at one point and that became my go-to multi-effects plugin. I use Molekular for more experimental stuff. N2O is another good one that I should probably use a bit more too.

I still have it installed, the only Tone2 i own still. But i'm always a bit worried using it because there've been a lot of discussions regarding Tone 2 being close to spyware.

Any Tone2 Warmverb users?
