IMO people hopelessly overestimate the capabilities of software. And hopelessly underestimate the capabilities of a human being. There's much more to creativity than hacking in algorithms which replicate stuff (or rather... a hopelessly limited amount of stuff).

My guess is that Reaper will implement this. But only after Reaper integrates Bitwig first.

Thinking about it, doesn't a lot of standard pop music use and reuse a collection of generic musical and lyrical phrases? You probably don't need a neural network, just a randomiser and some chopped up pop songs.
