Right before I go to work, I need to you all one other thing :o :

The only other software that is a fair comparsion to FLS is Orion. I check out the demo myself. And I must say that Bones (die-hard Orion user, former FL 2.4 user) was right about the great instruments included. And I wish the Image-Line would step their game up and start making more cutting edge instruments of their own (Sytrus is a great strong!!!). 8)

Nonetheless, at least FLS has an open format so I can use other VSTi/DXi's. Too bad I can't do that with Reason. :D

 I love FL

I use it ReWired in Sonar3, mostly for drums, but have used it extensivley on its own too.

Its simple to use, powerful, doesnt glitch or drop out, and offers lots of potential in a very accesible manner.

Yeah it would be cool if had some more really powerful inbuilt plugins like in Sonar, but I'll always end up using it one way or another :D

And the piano roll is the easiest to use that I've ever tried.

I love FL too..

but I'm just supporting them because they're Belgian

but seriously.. who cares what people say

It may be Belgian , but this American loves FLS. And I'm just piss a little that it may never get the same respect as Reason. Stupid RIAA.
Is there something somewhere written that somehow Belgians can't make exceptional software? :x

First time I saw FL Studio, I dismissed it. Then after going through Sound Forge/Sony Acid and then Ableton Live I came back to it, realised it's potential and have been learning with it since. It's Belgian, it's written in my favourite language (Delphi!)...

Live has better automation support but I've seen hints of FL Studio V5.0 which may fix all that.

I find FLStudio perfect for my stuff.I do everything in it.
One of the great things about it is it's expandability I use tons of free and bought vsts in it.I'm using Z3ta+,Albino2,Pro-53,Imposcar particularly but also free stuff like the GTG synths,PolyIblit,Claw.

This is the last track I uploaded which was of course done in FLStudio.Kinda sci-fi spacey but with beats...

I agree the only bad thing about Fruity Loops/FLStudio is the name. The "Fruity" bit has a dodgy meaning in the U.S.(though not here in U.K.) and the "Loops" part makes people think it just sequences pre-made loops together.
Could they change the name maybe?
Another word for fruit/fruity?
Replace "Loops"?
