I kinda like Spasmolytic by Skinny Puppy, it's pretty dark.
Many of you probably haven't seen this video, it's kinda sick, but I'll have to say NIN Happiness in Slavery, but this one is not for the faint of heart..... Beware.

I used to have that banned 'broken' video on VHS. Really gross and disturbing stuff... Good though.Anonymous Shadow wrote:I kinda like Spasmolytic by Skinny Puppy, it's pretty dark.

Both are great, but I think Chris Cunninghams 'Monkey Drummer' (Aphex Twin) is stands out even more as one great piece of art. I love the way everything is synced, crazy and still funny.rounser wrote:Aphex Twin - Windowlicker gets my vote. It's better than the Come To Daddy clip fer sher...
I also love the works of Spike Jontze and Michel Gondry on several videos.

Mr Prydz might have got a bunch of scantily clad , fit taut bodied, beautiful, gyrating, pumping.....STOP IT!!
Get a grip young man.
The king of videos for me is still 'Addicted to Love'
As a teenager it was 5 minutes of leggy models without bra's dancing in a manner that can only be described as mesmorising. Now it just sums up the 80s.
After that...
Weapon of Choice (or the Fatboy Slim vid in the market with the jittery dancing!!)
Sledgehammer - Peter Garbriel
True Faith - New Order
Dare I say...Take on me - Aha
Windowlicker probably gets my vote as well.

I can't say it's the best ever, but one of my favorites is Do The Evolution, by Pearl Jam. The song is decent, but the animation is the best I've seen this side of the Pacific.
Now that I think about it, Jeremy is a good video too.
A quote from the Pearl Jam website at Sony Music:
"As artists we are challenged to expand the meaning of our work and by utilizing this visual medium and collaborating with a visionary like Todd [McFarlane], we were able to further explore some of the themes we depicted in the song 'Do The Evolution.' Basically, we've tried to make a good stoner video." - Pearl Jam
