That's about 5K wages for every million minutes. You now own the copyright. Pattern match against every hit song that comes out and sue for infringement. Settle out of court.

I can think of ways to streamline this
this has already been tried with spurious patents and mass trademarks, and they have always been thrown out of court. one guy was actually banned from ever suing anyone else, ever again, because he was branded as a "vexatious litigant"
I have seen some, but there is a point where amount of human intervention has not been tested yet. Certainly you cant just generate automatically, there has to be human intervention. I can see a number of ways that might work

Maybe, but that's not the music that matters (at least to me).

There is already a program that "emulates" Mozart style of writing music. Yet, it didn't create any memorable piece of music, just "meh"...

And Mozart didn't always compose like Mozart :hihi:

For me, as a music consumer the artist is one important thing when listening to music. I know some artist might have very good music, but their behavior/actions have made me dislike their music. And then there are artists who might make some “not so superior” music, but they have such a great charisma that it somehow shines through the music (naturally if the music is bad, then it’s bad).

So what I’m trying to say is: the human aspect is quite important at least for me.

Does it matter? Music is anyway just a free background noise for the crowd out there these days.
Music will soon create their own humans :)

I doubt it will be permitted to continue for long. If only the same could be said about spurious forum topics.

A.I. most importantly lacks, creativity, imagination, inspiration, experimentation and happy accidents, all of which are hallmarks of a great piece of music. Also, don't forget about the passion, desire, love and all the gushy stuff that comes from human emotion that is translated into music.

Listen to a room full of humans playing orchestra instruments, then try to mimic that with a computer or robot. Some things may be technically the same, but are emotionally different.

Because humans play, compose and consume music through emotions.

For many periods in the history of music that's probably been true. The main difference here is that it will be done by a machine rather than a person.

We are AIs who aren't able yet to create other AIs. And when we will be able to do it we will be needless. They could live, act, compose music and listen to it themselves, without our help or participation.
