Bad presets, really? Thousands of people disagree.
Also, which video? AFAIK there was no video showcasing Rush, Pulse and Scene. There were some done by third parties though.

Has there been any hints at an update that would include the ability to import custom wavetables yet?

Nope, but MX team is quite aware of the popularity of the feature request.

Just curious, Are you saying that because you know 1000s of people have 'paid' for the preset packs based on the demos (they are obviously free with Massive X currently)
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Any idea if there is a significant update coming to Massive X soon? I am especially waiting for a solution to the GUI flicker problem on Intel GPU based systems.EvilDragon wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:16 am Nope, but MX team is quite aware of the popularity of the feature request.

yes, I found this very funny as well. how dare a man have an opinion of his own ??? (assuming there was actually a way to verify that there were 1000s liking some presets).SLiC wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:20 am

and me ? believe it or not, I'm working in software development and for 4 months I've trying to understand how to contact NI support or open a support case for a company I spent much money on their products.
I do think that massive x is a great synth, but I would very much hesitated buying it now had I knew that support is so bad.

Flickering issue on Intel is not in the pipeline yet unfortunately. It also impacts me so yeah... just gotta be patient.

Thanks. I'm aware about the community, this is where I first tried to get help more than 4 months ago.EvilDragon wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:36 am https://support.native-instruments.com/ ... port-at-NI

The first link seems to be about helping with Account & Order, Help Install and Uninstall , DJ Music Production and HW issues. I didn't find a way to directly contact support regarding a software issue or to send them an email about it (I even tried to open a case for HW due to lack of a proper category but they didn't respond to this as well).

Oh no, anyway, thanks for the update. I did comment on Facebook too and NI replied saying they will pass it to the team. Let's wait and watch.EvilDragon wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:36 am Flickering issue on Intel is not in the pipeline yet unfortunately. It also impacts me so yeah... just gotta be patient.
Any other promising update in pipeline soon?

It didn't used to be, but NI just had to layoff one fifth of its staff about 6 month ago and is currently 'restructuring' Below is interesting and pretty much reflects my feelings- these comments are from NI 'employees' past and present (Glassdoor). Its all being going downhill since they dropped Kore in my opinion!nirm123 wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:30 am

“Management constantly changing their mind and not listening to users. Passion slowly drains away after a tidal wave of bad management decisions”
“C-level seems to be totally disconnected to their skilled employees, the products the company sells, the market and the customers ”
“Almost everyone in middle management and upwards seem quite apathetic or have just lost the understanding of what made NI work well in the past and what they’re capable of doing in the present […]
– No vision for innovative technology anymore
– No real investment in modernizing their most popular and grossing platforms
– Confused, self-conflicting management, that leads to…
– Endless shifting of goals and moving targets”
“Indecisive c-level management. New projects get cancelled last minute resulting in massive layoffs

It's pretty easy actually (I just had 2 support cases): You click through their support question suggestions, and, at the end, you can contact them if you still have a question which hasn't been answered via their knowledge base. Support contacted me in both cases within a work day.nirm123 wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:30 am and me ? believe it or not, I'm working in software development and for 4 months I've trying to understand how to contact NI support or open a support case for a company I spent much money on their products.
Anyway, it seems to be more hip to slap them for everything they do here, so, I'll just leave it at that.

I can understand this and unlike other user implied (I can never understand these "guesses") this is not about going against NI as I love many of their product which I've been using for years and for me massive x in spite of some issues it still has (almost 1 year from the release date) - is still the most inspiring synth I own and sounds absolutely wonderful.SLiC wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:53 amIt didn't used to be, but NI just had to layoff one fifth of its staff about 6 month ago and is currently 'restructuring'nirm123 wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:30 am

read what they're writing again, this is true you need help with: Account & Order, Help Install and Uninstall , DJ Music Production and HW issues.chk071 wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 11:04 amIt's pretty easy actually (I just had 2 support cases): You click through their support question suggestions, and, at the end, you can contact them if you still have a question which hasn't been answered via their knowledge base.nirm123 wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:30 am and me ? believe it or not, I'm working in software development and for 4 months I've trying to understand how to contact NI support or open a support case for a company I spent much money on their products.
Otherwise, you're requested to solve it via the community.
