This is a tough one. In the end I settled on Cubase pro + Halion. But a very close second is Ableton Live because of Max For Live and my favorite synth Operator. Not sure what synth I would add on, probably Halion again :)

That’s because 99% of sounds can be made with those 2

Your smart to only use those 2 most of the time.
I bought way to many plugins just to use like...4-5 consistently 😅. Woulda save a lot of cash.

Edit: not to mention FL has some of (in my eyes) the most underated stock plugins.
I think most people know sytrus and Harmon are amazing but Sawer, BioHazard, Sakura (is it called Sakura I forgot 😅) DrumMaxx, DirectWave, And even 3OSC if you know what your doing.
Now add Flex who’s rapidly growing their library to be a Nexus Competitor, it’s some good stuff.
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

They're not stock plugins except 3xOSC. And maybe flex.

Thats...

Well... actually yea I see what you mean... I probably used the Word "Stock" Incorrectly there. I meant Synths that specifically come IN FL studio. Specifically designed to work In FL Studio. Forget sometimes you Buy those separately, or get them all in the master suite of course.

Flex is Included in All editions of FL so yes it is a Stock.

Plain wrong!!
There are other editions with more or all instruments included...

People mentioning Cubase spoke about Pro not Elements...
People spoke about Ableton Suite and not Standard...
Ableton Suite equals to the All Plugins Bundle (even if it is a bit more expensive but got more included) which means all native plugins IL ever made...

You do know that stock and native are different things?

Stock = built in and comes when you install
Native = built for specific platform

For example ableton sampler. It's not a stock device but simpler is.

I think FL (even the cheapest one) comes with Flex & GMS? The GMS sounds very impressive (and it seems to have some free extra sounds for it).

You are splitting hairs here...
If people talking about bigger editons of DAWs here like Cubase Pro/Nuendo or Ableton Suite, they for sure include all devices available for this edition in their considerations which DAW to choose... call the plugins stock or native... it´s the same thing in this regard...if it´s included, it´s included ...period...

An interesting choice :hyper:
I know them well and complete more music with them. After playing with all the toys I always end up back at U No Lx, PPG, OBxd
