Me too, hehe.

Anyway, TBH, I cut my budget a bit, so, I'll most likely not upgrade immediately when version 5 comes out. Rather wait for a upgrade sale, probably Black Friday.

Let's see what's new first. If it is only mixing/mastering related enhancements, I'm not in. I also don't want new instruments. Just workflow enhancements and midi editing improvements :D
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Sounds like a plan. At least the OP won't be able to start adding all kinds of irrelevant stuff to the first post :tu:

Few pages back a guy who seemed to know what he's saying suggested it's mainly reworking of 28 devices (that still have the pre-v3 GUIs) and some workflow stuff. I'd upgrade even if just for the former, as I appreciate consistency :help:

EDIT - found it:
keel wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2020 10:02 pmAfter reading this thread, I just have to say again, don't expect too much. All the modular stuff and so on, no.. This gonna be more like 0.5 update. There is 72 new features / changes in total, and 28 of them is related to their plugins. Only 3 new things on workflow category and even they are like nothing. There is some useful stuff, but a lot of people will be disappointed. And no, I don't break any NDA, because I am not a beta tester and I have not sign anything. I just happen to know. You can believe it if you want or not. I don't care. Just hold your horses.

Well, let's see the whole lot first ;) Sometimes, a minor thing that helps you in your workflow or editing can worth it alone. If not, that's a good save for another upgrade :)

In general I feel very good with v4.6. I miss the clip launcher from Bitwig because I got used to compare my ideas with it, but it is ok, I'm trying to get used to few takes and be decisive faster :)

I hope they fix the scenes feature. That thing has never fully worked properly. I'd upgrade to version 5 for that alone.

Some features from the top feature request, BIgger Presonus Atom controller (later), Presonus keyboards (later), and deeper notion integration. Look at right now it's mainly a songwriter/producer driven industry.

Better hope Presonus don't find out who he is. I know Ryan, and Rick browse this site.

No...it's the tracks visibility feature that allows you to group your tracks by type such as "Drums", "Bass", etc and then recall them when you only want to view a specific group or "scene" as they call it. The problem is it sometimes messes things up when you add new tracks (even when you lock a scene). At times it hides tracks in folders if you had the folders closed when you clicked on another scene.

I much prefer tracks visibility in Cubase Pro 10.5 which I also own. Cubase has its quirks too which is why I primarily use Studio One 4.6 for its better workflow (in my opinion of course). I'd prefer to stick to Studio One full time if they could address all or most of the issues that I dont like about it. I anxiously await to see what S1 v5 brings to the table. If that doesn't do it for me then I'll wait for Cubase Pro 11 to see if it wins me over.

Oh, never used that particular feature. Contact support with a example they can replicate and I'm sure it's gonna get fixed.

I've Cubase Pro 10.5 as well. It's not even installed anymore :)

Nope. I was at Studio One clinic and spoke with the VP, and staff. I remember the VP told me a Notion update would drop at a particular time, and he was right. I know what I was told, and won't comment further. I don't beta test or work for them. I'm a customer just like you.
