Cakewalk By Bandlab. When I had difficulties installing, they were fantastic. They were really efficient and helpful - beyond expectations.

My best experience is with Roger Linn, but that is hardware (with firmware)...
Cycling 74 was always fine in the +25 years I am with them... In general I don‘t have much bad experiences, and usually the smaller the better. Some companies seem too big to really be able to reach support (Korg), some even put up a paywall for bug reports (Avid). Behind that paywall its often good, for that unacceptable behavior I would have to blame the management and not the developers...

I love FabFilter, their products are awesome and their support is magic!
I also really appreciate their policy about fidelity: the more you buy from them the more you get discounts.
Super recommended

+1 for Sinevibes. I emailed a couple feature requests to him last year and he included them in an update the very next week!

Post

Every dev/company I've dealt with were good, don't know if I was lucky or I just chose the right ones.
If I really have to drop some name: Arturia solved a big issue about a license with patience, years ago. Dmitry Sches and U-He are really surprising in terms of speed and courtesy.
Honorable mention for XLN, they're always friendly and helpful.

I repeat, though: never experienced a real problem with anyone.
