Doesn't work for me. The synth doesn't start due to missing skins.
Can it be because it is still a windows 7 machine ?

Yes, but the folder is 'Skins' not 'Themes'

Sorry George but I'm on Windows 10 and I also get the warning
"verify documents>discodsp>themes>folderlocation""
But I did name the dll to Ob-Xd V2.dll (because I have a LOT of different obxdees used), maybe that is the "problem" ?

For the latest 2.0 nightly:

OB-Xd.dll / .vst3 go to > VST / VST3 folders.
Themes folder go to > Documents > discoDSP > OB-Xd

For those using Obxd.dll name, overwrite it with latest stable release 1.5 so you won't break any compatibility.

I have the themes folder in the right place but get the missing skin warning instead of the synth gui....

Try deleting Documents > discoDSP > OB-Xd > Settings.xml

Yep that worked, but only if you do NOT use version 1.5 and change the skin for that one*, which will create an new settings.xml, and we are f*cked again

Edit: *that does not have an equivalent Theme ( I used the frias one that has no Theme)
