As you can see - I'm locked down AND I have the day off work, so I'm posting a lot of sh*t today
OK so this MorphVerb is actually pretty cool. The ducking and infinite settings are awesome. I'm liking it more than UVI SparkVerb which I'm demo'ing too. Something I immediately dislike in reverbs is an overly grainy, metallic tail - after those early reflections I like a smooth diffusion all the way to the edge of the fade, even with plate... and this is pretty smooth.
Decent set of features and hell of a good opening price. I no longer care who Muramasa are, for $20 this stands up alright. (For over $100, we'll see).

This. He's just an idea person.jens wrote: Thu May 07, 2020 10:31 pmPlease forgive me for my lack of knowledge, but what's a "creative developer"? You said that your Buddy came up with the idea for Audfied Mix Checker - so is that what a "creative developer" is? Someone coming up with ideas, which then get actually coded by someone else?
We are all Creative Developers as soon as we start sound designing or combining plugins

I dont know much about #conspiracies; yet, can also give Melda some props for MTurboVerb & MCharmVerb, which are both very useful & unique #tools (especially for sound-design).
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

United Plugins are kind of like Plugin Alliance - multiple devs producing under one framework (in this case, they're partnering with MeldaProduction as their installers, licensing and website looks very similar). The ones that came before were either from Soundevice Digital (https://unitedplugins.com/soundevice-digital), FireSonic (https://unitedplugins.com/firesonic) or JMG Sound(https://unitedplugins.com/jmg-sound), whereas this one is by Muramasa Audio (https://unitedplugins.com/Muramasa), so don't let your perception of other United Plugins releases color your perception of MorphVerb.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I like and own licenses for:
Soundevice Digital - RoyalCompressor
JMG Sound - Hyperspace
FireSonic - FireCobra
Worth checking out if you're new to the 'brand'.
I think Morphverb looks beautiful but sounds the opposite of beautiful. I saw a post over at gearslutz and a video on youtube which suggested using filters on the reverb to get 'good tones'. Any reverb that needs that much band-passing should ring alarm bells imho.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

I have the autoformer, and it's hands down the best signal leveler i've ever used. makes mixing live streams a breeze.

If you have any of the Melda verbs or convo plugin you can create youre own morphing verb.
Most of the Melda plugins support morphing as they hav 4 preset selectors that can be assigned to the XY morph, so there are 10,000s of potential sounds you can reach in between the 4 slots

Well, him saying that he's in charge of the company and then in the next(or overnext) sentence saying that he can't give more info due to an NDA says it all, doesn't it?VariKusBrainZ wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 9:55 amThis. I assume he does a whole lot more than giving ideas though. Some kind of quality management, testing, customer support, marketing& communication, making presets and so forth is not nothing - far from it - it's not coding plugins though.
I could be completely wrong but the Melda plugins totally reek of Delphi (or something related) to me, which would be something relatively special and certainly not something another experienced developer would neccessarily want to switch over to i.e. that would be one reason more for me to doubt that anyone else than Vojtech himselfg would use his API.

The nice thing about United Plugins is, if the underlying code for the plugins is Melda code, I don't have to deal with the Melda UI/UX which for me is a deal-breaker. If anyone wants MTurboReverb I have it for sale. Nice reverb but I just don't gel with Melda's ergonomics.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 3:05 pm If you have any of the Melda verbs or convo plugin you can create youre own morphing verb.

Oh my god:) I can assure you all, that me, Jacob,Jonathan , Jason and Muramasa guys made the plugins from the top, till the point where is needed to make for them API, build them and make the installation files. In other companies, you have got special guys for DSP , another for builds, another for finishing the core.Or just testers. And no, (sorry I didn't notice the question before- I make algo on another plugin and probably have less time to write on forums than you and I didn't realize it is an interrogation of guilty person) -I didn't make coding myself for Audified yet, there was another really genius DSP coder, I designed the plugin from the smallest part , circuit, how it would work - till the smallest algo of behaviour, though. And later was good to learn,, in time how to make my own ideas by myself almost till the finished product /with some exceptions/ , that is one of the reasons, why we left old company, to make all by ourselves -and we had a couple of years for learning it and nonetheless than great support of respected developer and teacher for us. And your suggestions that plugin developer should make it from the top till the end is quite funny and naive. Ask Plugin Alliance or Waves..there is a team of designers, coders builders.Even in Audified was 20 people. I cannot understand that instead of shady conspiracy theories, which are quite disrespectful to months of work we have done, you just don't use other plugins you like, and you are not making something useful as for example music instead

PS: the logic is totally wrong, I and Jacob are owners of Soundevice digital , which is named after my studio. All we have NDA with label United plugins.jens wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 3:58 pm

enjoy your conspiracy theories, though
It is really simple- try and use , if you like it (the sound is what is matter, surprisningly). If not- you have other opportunities.Life is short.

I don't think any of the conspiracy comments are serious. No one thinks you're merely puppets of Melda's tyrannical rule or anything. Compare Melda's role in United Plugins to that of Brainworx and Plugin Alliance. But I bet Vojtech is a better boss than Dirk. Anyway... Soundevice Digital make great stuff and I own both Royal Comp and Front DAW.
Let's leave politics out of it and just discuss this plugin in isolation (lol).
