Yes, this would be very helpful, I requested this in the other Dune 3 topic on this forum. A simple ARP-Hold button/function for both ARP1 & ARP2 would be super cool, and useful.

In the meantime there is a Latch function however it affects both Arps:

I've even set up a button on my midi controller to turn the Latch on/off. Just midi learn the Mod Matrix amount +100-100 (on/off). Not as elegant as having a button for each Arp but a workaround for now. :)

Parameter locks might be a cool easy to add feature, Thorn has them to keep one preset's effects the same then skip between presets maintaining the effects you liked. Mystery Islands (on the SN2X anyway) has them for nearly all sections; Oscs, Filters, LFO's, Effects and would be good to see in Dune - say you've made some nice pad envs and effects with an LFO doing some volume automation but want a different overall sound means you can lock those and go a trip through other presets changing only the selected unlocked parts to theirs, then just some minor tweaking for a totally different sounding pad.

Was just there, saw nothing mentioned. Rich said he would implement it when D3 was released in a post here at kvr and on synapse. Surprised it's not implemented yet. Kind of have no patience to put in another request at this point. Don't think it's going to happen, sadly... Moving on...

I thought right clicking to assign a modulation was already possible? You can’t determine amount but you can assign it and then determine amount on the matrix, or am I mistaken?

An animated filter is nice to have as it illustrates the behaviour of the envelopes/Lfos that have been assigned to it. While the lfos don’t show you an animation the MSEGs do and I feel as though that’s good enough.

We’re never going to get an animated filter but one in the centre of the screen would be all I needed.

...yes I know, use your ears and all that jazz. But as someone who’s only gotten more familiar with synthesis recently it is a huge help to at least have the filter animation.

Layer mixer (pan, volume)
Octave knob for the oscillators
Spike hard/soft from Dune 1
Dry/wet for filter fx (especially vowel)
BP and HP filters of the AM bunch.
Some way to distribute each of the oscillators between the first and the second filter (e.g. like in Spire)
Some way to visually separate the All page from the layer pages (different colour?)
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try
