Regarding your rendered GUI, what's the planned window resolution?

Blue any better ?
To be honest the new knobs and skin look really crude and undefined at 1080p.
For example.....

Looks nice in blue. Clean looking. What new knobs and skin exactly?

My target has been 1225 x 496 (retina version thus being 2450 x 992). The idea being that it's large enough but not so big that it wouldn't fit the MacBook Pro resolutions (2880 x 1800/2560 x 1600).discoDSP wrote: Sun May 10, 2020 4:53 pmRegarding your rendered GUI, what's the planned window resolution?
But that's certainly up for debate. Would love to hear about people's preferences regarding this.

And also the Classic:
Look how ragged and nasty the Knob Background is.......

Looks like an antialiasing issue to me...Teksonik wrote: Sun May 10, 2020 5:14 pm To be honest the new knobs and skin look really crude and undefined at 1080p.

1225 x 495 seems fine. I'd keep a 3x bitmap saved for the time scaling gets ready.

Yeah, looks like a Windows scaling issue. Not happening in mac.

The original resolution (which I'm working in) is closer to 4kdiscoDSP wrote: Sun May 10, 2020 5:28 pm 1225 x 495 seems fine. I'd keep a 3x bitmap saved for the time scaling gets ready.

Windows scaling is set to default here. (100%).
It appears to be burned into the Knob image. Check out the .png

I mean the downscaling used in windows is different hence the aliased look. I'm afraid that's up to JUCE framework, but will try to see what I can do.Teksonik wrote: Sun May 10, 2020 5:37 pm Windows scaling is set to default here. (100%).
