Plugins this update could reasonably replace for me:
-Battery
-Stix
-Stutter Edit
-TRK-01
-Sitala
Probably more.
And no real need to upgrade to Reason 11 anymore.
I'll probably keep that stuff for diversity's sake but I could really simplify if I want.
Nice job evil empire!

Zoom anchor is also related to selected regions, too, I’ve noticed in past.teilo wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 5:40 pm The zoom bug is still there. Zoom out. Put the playhead somewhere. Pinch zoom or Option-shift-scroll. No matter what, the zoom always centers on the start of the track.
Now zoom in a little so that the whole track won't fit in your window. Now put the playhead somewhere and the use the mouse/trackpad to zoom again. Zoom will center on the playhead like it should. Stupid.
EDIT: Ah, it is partly fixed. Current bug is a carryover. If the playhead position was from a saved file in the old version, it won't zoom to the playhead until you move it. In fact, it zooms wherever the hell it feels like. Move the playhead first, and then it zooms fine. Resaving the file fixes this. Yay!
The Piano Roll Catch Playhead bug is fixed. When you click on an unselected MIDI region in a track, the piano roll editor will show your playhead. Before you would have to toggle Catch Playhead off and on to get it to move to the playhead position.
I know this seems like trivial stuff, but in intensive long editing sessions, the "trivial" stuff isn't so trivial.
This stuff isn’t trivial. It’s used constantly. That makes it critical for workflow... and not enraging the user...

Stutter edit is still much more powerful than Remix FX, but it's much easier to setup and for some quick shenanigans a joy to use.
The new drum synth sounds like Ultrabeat synth engine, but with dedicated controls. I love it.
Quick Sampler with DMD is better than Sitala.
+ the bonus of never losing your samples again, since they're save with the project. (Oh how many times i loaded a project after i "optimised" my sampled library to have it all fall apart)

Logic as a Daw, Due to Alchemy and Now the Updated Samplers, Drum Synths and Sculpture could theoretically Invalidate Every Plugin I have Except Serum...As far as "Needed For My Work " is concerned, and as far as Not having an AlternativeLocal Man wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 6:16 pm Plugins this update could reasonably replace for me:

And I'm not Going to part with My FabFilter Plugins, Kontakt, Reaktor or Pigments anytime soon
The value is Insane, Honestly Insane.
I keep forgetting How amazing the Stock Compressor is, and CromaVerb, And all the EQs, The Delays. It's crazy.
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

Logic is an amazing value, but I would never want to be without Reaktor. I hope NI doesn’t screw it up.Spencer Maddox wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 6:26 pmLogic as a Daw, Due to Alchemy and Now the Updated Samplers, Drum Synths and Sculpture could theoretically Invalidate Every Plugin I have Except Serum...As far as "Needed For My Work " is concerned, and as far as Not having an AlternativeLocal Man wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 6:16 pm Plugins this update could reasonably replace for me:

Depends on your specific model. I just looked at DOSDude1’s patched installers for Mojave and my iMac 12,2 definitely is NOT going to work (the AMD 6xxx GPU isn’t supported and I can’t disable it to use a CPU-integrated GPU). Other items may also fail to operate, like the iSight camera, or even wireless.jonljacobi wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 6:40 pmThere are ways to update to the newer OS versions. Just look around.
Be very careful to read all issues before trying a patched installer!!

I think the flat minimalism in design is just a reflection of what's happened with physical design. I chalk it up to seeking calm in an ever noisier, both audibly and visually, world. I think it's gone too far, as you don't have to worship skeuomorphism to acknowledge that we see and interpret 3D, and if used wisely, it will speed recognition and cognition.

That said, I hated EXS24's interface. Fantastic sampler, shite gui.

How do you access the remix fx plugin using Logic Remote? It only seems to load instruments now.

I'm a bit confused. You say 12,2 but that 10.14.6 is the last it supports. I didn't think 12,2 officially supported Mojave. Regardless, I hope you aren't forced to buy anytime soon.Jace-BeOS wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 6:45 pmDepends on your specific model.
