Emulator X3 is the latest version and the only one you are going to be able to get working.vstbass3000 wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 2:11 am Does anyone have a cope or know where to get Emulator X2. I have studio, but of course want to upgrade the software. I hope someone can help, thank you!
X2 needs an EMU interface to run, and on top of that, uses a copy protection that is not working on anything newer than Windows XP.
X3 is fully 64-bit and working perfectly on Windows 10.
The only problem is that there's not way to purchase it anymore as EMU went out of business a decade ago and Digital Pro Audio which sold Emulator afterwards is also gone. But if you look a bit, you'll find a working and usable copy. But for that you have to put your eyepatch and wooden leg on, if you get what I mean.

Thanks for the reply, I'm aware of the requirements. I have X Studio, so just need the software. At this point i would not say it's illegal to maintain a copy, since I own the hardware. I have looked everywhere and no luck. Can you help?robotmonkey wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 5:53 amEmulator X3 is the latest version and the only one you are going to be able to get working.vstbass3000 wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 2:11 am Does anyone have a cope or know where to get Emulator X2. Yep. You need to fix couple of things though, depending on the DAW.zerocrossing wrote: Wed May 13, 2020 2:00 amIt is? You need to copy couple of .dll files from Emulator directory to Windows system folders for Emulator to function properly.
I have described it in viewtopic.php?f=1&t=463729&hilit=.dll&start=15.
You also need to activate it with the standalone version.
On 64bit you should also apply the 64bit fx registry fix. Otherwise internal FX will not show up in 64bit version.
After that everything should work like clockwork.

Out of curiousity did the google thing, but did not get in the harbour. I guess it depends on your exact search query, your location & language prefs, your previous searches, etc.bungle wrote: Wed May 13, 2020 1:44 am I suggest you go to the opticians, it is the 4th link in a Google search LOL

Search "Emulator X3" Can't see why you would search anything else ?
There is a row of featured videos, sorry I counted that as the first link, three links down from that you will find what you are looking for.
No I wont post it here, it is against the rules.
