just curious how many here use / prefer higher sample rates.

I've always been using 44.1kHz, but wondered what benefits higher sample rates actually might bring to the table.
My current sound card sadly doesn't support anything higher

if you don’t have a particular problem* that needs solving, I wouldn’t worry. For a render, the higher rates are to my view rather dubious.

* EG: If one’s DAW is Cubase and one’s video collaborator likes 48, it’s easier to conform than to dick around.

Yes, i think plugin internal oversampling should do a good job for most tasks.
Anyone has experience if time stretching gives better, or let's say cleaner results on higher rates?

Another 44.1 merchant here. Although I am upgrading my pc, so who knows what the future holds.
