They only bring mice.
Actually, my little house is making scary wood creaking sounds in an accelerating pace, the inner door starts to rumble whenever a train rushes by 100m away, the top floors are tilted and one of the supporting pillars has growing cracks.

Don't worry, I've taken out their batteries, they only get current while I have my lewd ways with them.

I’ve never heard an OCD sound like that. It’s a cool sound but more like a fuzz. I’d actually like to know how they did that.
-edit- In the comments, they state that these were recorded through a tube preamp, not an amp. Cool sound, just not what I’ve ever heard from either pedal.
-edit 2- The preamp is an Alembic F-2B, which is basically a pre-CBS blackface Fender preamp (a Showman specifically but the preamps sections of those amps are all mostly the same).

Not a good comparison, the preamp may have been driven, they do sound similar, even though it's not the true sound.
The YT channel has lot of similar videos.

It doesn’t need to sound identical, anyway. Used OCD’s are cheap, there’s no reason to get a knock off just to save money. The beauty of the Joyo Ultimate Drive is they did such a poor job of emulating the OCD that it ended up with a great Dumble-ish kind of tone that the OCD itself can’t do.
Around 8 years ago, I had Joyo build me a version of the Ultimate Drive that fixed all their mistakes. It was pointless! It lost everything that makes their pedal unique and didn’t provide anything new. I thought I was doing something cool by using an audiophile Burr Brown opamp but, aside from a little less noise, it made almost no difference. Also, there are lots of pedals now that are better than the OCD, it’s no longer the standard that it was back then.

I have a Chinese pedal called the Silver MM that sounds terrific. It’s a knock off of an Xotic but it has a great Tube Screamer-ish character that I don’t get from any of the Xotic pedals.
I’ve also got some Wangs (OEM for Akai) Blue Drive and Analog Delay pedals that sound great. The Blue Drive is so weird, it has this intense overcompressed push and not much actual drive. It’s totally unique. The Analog Delay has the most unstable clock ever and it’s effectively a randomized modulation delay.

^Are Wang and Biyang the same company, or just partners? I got a bunch of Wang Amp stickers and bumf with my Biyang pedals. If so, are the Wangs/Akais the same as the Biyang ones?
Also, I keep meaning to buy a Joyo Ultimate Drive. I think I’ll add a Harley Benton onto my Blue Ranger order, when I finally cave and buy it
. I’m assuming the Harley Benton is just a rebadged Joyo as they look the same otherwise.

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Wangs and Biyang are the same company. I misspoke before, the pedals I was talking about are Biyang.
