You can't beat a bit of Acid House Mushy.. Plan is to use x3 TD-3's poly chained for stabs and the other 2 on bass line duty, one on saws and one on squares. I have the Hydra for pads and Ambient stuff, MC-707 on drums and the rest of the hardware doing whatever then the MPC X will control it all. Happy days mate.
Might get an OB6 and another Hydra KB version for Christmas but for now I have plenty poly and Acid to be getting on.
Just had to order shit loads of midi cables, jacks and usb leads too ffs

BOSS DD500 + BOSS RV500
Just ordered a couple of pedals for the Novation Circuit Mono Station and Behringer MS-1
Been watching YouTube videos for a while now and preferred these two over others. Love the sound they can produce. Delivered either tomorrow or Monday. Managed to get the PSU for both free as they don't normally come with one.

I went through hell for a year (long story), but now I can afford my conversion to hardware. So I bought a System 8, KingKorg, TR-8S and MODX6. All the weirdest choices since they're still virtual analog or digital, but since I'm interested in the synthwave genre, they make more sense. Also bought a Strymon TimeLine and Big Sky, and I must say, passing digital synths into effects almost makes real analog redundant (at least when producing music).
All I can say is I've had more fun and enjoyment out of these so far than any VST or VSTi.
I think the KingKorg just edges it over a OB-6 or Prophet-6 for value and practicality, and of course there's eight note polyphony as well. If Behringer were to bring out an alternative for half the price then I might just consider it.
Can't explain the actual hands on difference between a real instrument and a mouse and screen, but actually that feedback on real knobs and sliders is what I was always missing. Now making sounds and buildings songs is far more enjoyable, so the expense so far has been worth it.

Finally received these and they're amazing. The noise isolation is incredible, which is exactly what I was looking for. Me and the gf are locked down together in our small-ish apartment, so with my DT-880's it was sometimes hard to focus on the music with all the background noise. With these, even with no sounds playing in the earphones, noises like the TV, slamming from the kitchen or telephone conversations are just a faint whisper. You only need to listen at very low volumes to completely drown out all outside noise. The sound quality is very clean and precise as well. I'm glad I went with the "XR" version though, because the bass isn't exactly prominent but rather "just right".

Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care
