Hello!

Reason and Fruity are also as VST Plugins.
Do you think it makes sense to use Maschine,Reason,Fruity inside of Ableton.
What kind of minimum CPU specs should be inside?
I saw the Dell Optiplex 7010 and ask myself if this should work?
Of course! You can bring each DAW to the limit but i don´t want to see an empty template with 30%.

I want to try something new and know that one DAW is ,,enough´´.
So please pardon

This is a pretty weird question :D
1) Why would you need to run Maschine, Reason & FL together in Live? Isn't Live enough? Is there specific reason for wanting this? Like some native plugins / workflow you can't live without?
2) Optiplex 7010 seems like a very old, limited maschine with 3rd gen Intel CPUs (we're now on 10th gen) - current Surface Pro which is a tablet beats it by 30-40%
3) Anyting you run in your DAW has some abstraction layer between DAW and sound genertion, so the more of such layers you have the more "empty" cycles this will cost, especially on a weak machine, so the answer to #1 has to be very convincing.

I'd say if you can't afford a proper machine forget about running such complex setup. Decide on one DAW, few VSTs and learn them. There's no tool that's not replaceable.

Ableton is still a DAW with good Grid Integration.

Reason has some Synths i don´t want ,,miss´´ ,
Fruity loops is something new for me. Thats the simple answer.
Maschine is Maschine. Preset Monster. Groovebox... etc.

What´s so bad on an third Generation Desktop PC?

I used to Rewire Reason into my first real DAW when I switched. I did not have any third party VSTs at the time and I really liked Thor in particular, had many presets made across all the instruments. So go for it if it makes you feel more secure.

Over time, I bought third party plugins and they blew away everything in Reason and I stopped rewiring it. And uninstalled it entirely. I upgraded to Reason 10 last year to see what was new (and it was effectively the same price as Europa VST) and I truly do not miss it. I have no desire to upgrade to 11 to run it as a VST rack. YMMV.

Do whatever you want, not sure why you need anyone's permission.

Very very thanks for your opinions. As you know, it´s an investment and some thoughts from others, why not listen?

I did try FL Studio VST in Reason, but not very good not very fast to use. FL VST is open in different window not inside Reason like every one else VST is open inside Reason.

This dell pc seems pretty old, try to get hold of a better one. In regards to your “daw as vst” question; just do it and see if it works for you! Reason and Maschine alone are pretty capable sound generators and effect machines if you will. If it fits your flow then it is right!

Cheers
