Yes, but Logic has one major problem that cant be fixed.
You have to use a Mac
You have to use a Mac
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

What about that sluggish interface of Logic? I hate it so much when you want to resize the mixer, the cursor goes up and the mixer is left behind. You can see it in this video @2:41 - although while resizing the mixer it's more noticeable. In Studio One, no matter how fast you move the mouse, it stays with the cursor, feels snappy, more responsive to your commands.

Has anyone heard or have any idea what the upgrade price will be for users of Vx Pro to V5 Pro???
I have V2 and look forward to V5 release.

s1 lags when resizing the mixer on OSX for a lot of people actually. GUI lag has been reported quite a bit on the presonus forums.nIGhT-SoN wrote: Fri May 15, 2020 6:48 pm What about that sluggish interface of Logic? It happens to me, but I think it’s related to using a 5k retina screen. When I put it into low resolution mode it’s better.

Probably. I remember they had a presentation for v3 in asia and someone leaked images back then. Maybe they showed something off at the france meetup?chk071 wrote: Fri May 15, 2020 11:05 amI wonder too. Anything interesting which has been talked about there?![]()

at least I'm using it instead of resizing things

Do the reverbs in S1 need an update or can they already compete with the likes of Altiverb?

I have never tested AltiVerb, but since it's €499, do you really think there are any stock plugins in any DAW that can compete? If that's the case AltiVerb is heavily overpriced, not just overpriced.

Btw, I read somewhere that Logic now has a drag n drop workflow? And that this is new from 10.5? I some ways S1 more than a decade ahead other DAWs. Possibly decades behind in other ways though

Not for everything like S1. It has it for some things, like DMD, the new Live Loops view. It does have some cool things like dragging and dropping audio onto a track gives you options like automatically slicing the audio and putting in a sampler or DMD. It also optimizes the audio, which seems to automatically run some normalization and setting loop points etc. It also automatically seems to find the key of the sample and tune it.starflakeprj wrote: Fri May 15, 2020 10:37 pm Btw, I read somewhere that Logic now has a drag n drop workflow? It might be due to my newer system with a faster GPU, but Logic is instantaneously snappy now, even with huge templates and a densely packed mixer with dozens of plugins. I did use to get that laggy, low frame rate resizing on my older iMac, but not lately.nIGhT-SoN wrote: Fri May 15, 2020 6:48 pm What about that sluggish interface of Logic?
