Just wanted to warn anyone thinking about buying it, contrary to what the web site leads you to believe, there are other differences other than the track count. You don't get the Grid (the big one) and any of the sound content that doesn't come with the demo. Bitwig if you read this please put a feature comparison on your site because as is it leads people to believe the track count is the only difference. I probably would have upgraded eventually but I'm not so sure now, the taste in my mouth is pretty bad. Let's see if there are any other surprises.

How did you even navigate to the page for 16-Track? I couldn't even find a dedicated page for it when I was looking. Thanks! I guess I should have came here BEFORE purchasing!

I mean from the home page? What did you click on to get there? Anyway it's good to know it's there but it really should be easier to find.

You're totally right - it should be in the Shop, when you're deciding between full and 16-track versions! Please e-mail them at support@bitwig.comtheorize wrote: Thu May 07, 2020 1:16 am I mean from the home page? What did you click on to get there? It was the second result on google when I searched for "Bitwig 16 Track". I agree that it should be easier to find from their home page...theorize wrote: Thu May 07, 2020 1:14 am How did you even navigate to the page for 16-Track? Either way I've purchased the full version, I really need all the extra features and really wanted the grid. I would really like a true MSEG and more complexity in the phase distortion oscillator... it would be nice to do casio style sounds. I have Virtual CZ which is great but I'm mostly using Linux right now, maybe I'll get around to figuring out how to use VST plugs in wine, I have a bunch of D16 plugs as well that I'd like to use. Hopefully the next year will bring some great additions to bitwig it really is a great program.

Yes you can. I did some months ago using Carla and wine. Many VST would install fine (not NI though because they use that crappy Native Access).theorize wrote: Sat May 16, 2020 10:17 pm Either way I've purchased the full version, I really need all the extra features and really wanted the grid. There is a detailed thread in Bitwig forums here in KVR I think about Linux. It is a good help.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Googling for the information is a workaround. Such information should be clearly navigable from the product website.theorize wrote: Sat May 16, 2020 10:06 pm My problem was I never googled it, I just simply typed in www.bitwig.com
