A few weeks ago I saw a thread with a question about which synths had preset morphing that triggered my curiosity about which synths have random preset generators like the one the OG Massive or the Virus TI have, any one care to bring some suggestions and contribute to the discussion?

Just about anything by HG Fortune ( http://www.vst4free.com/index.php?dev=HG%20Fortune ) or Artvera ( https://www.artvera-music.com/ ) have "lazy" buttons to play with. (Artvera also has the most stunning website I have ever seen!)

Crystal ( http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?pl ... tal&id=262 ) has an interesting "breeding" method of randomizing presets using two "parent" sound types.

Tone2's free NanoHost has that function, so any plugin loaded into it can have a randomized preset.

This seems like a really cool tool, the problem is I'm on Mac, bummer.

Isn't The Absynth just a morph between selected presets kid of thing? I cant seem to recall how it worked maybe I missed something while testing.

Although I find Absynth's interface really quirky and uninspiring.

Discovery Pro and Discovery can randomize full program, layer, layer morphing, gate and modulation envelope.

Logic out of the question im currently trying their 90 day trial after not using Logic since version 8 and I don't think Im switching back although apple has made it really tempting including nice stuff (Alchemy and the new auto sample feature) at relatively cheap price.
