Thanks for making a linux version, it seems to work perfect,
and very nice to have the sizeable gui. Is there an archive of
useful .sbi files available?

EDIT
I just noticed they are included in the windows version's installation path, in a folder called 'AdlibTracker'
so I just copied them over to the linux path...
to a folder named sbi-files in Documents/discoDSP

...but the linux version wanted a lowercase .sbi extension,
so I used the

thunar -B

command, which launches the thunar bulk-rename utility
(thunar is a linux filemanager that comes with xfce setups
to bulk rename the extensions.

No state recall.

Wait, I didn't realise you've demo restricted an open-source plugin - I thought the $29 was just a donation thing like OBXD ?! Uninstalling and going back to this build in that case: https://github.com/jpcima/ADLplug

The feedback slider on the original is way to low , disco dsp feedback is accurate .
Anyway , charging money for an open source plugin is kinda lame but I guess that's just the way disco dsp rolls
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

If you don’t want to pay simply compile the Release build from GitHub.

ADLplug is based on OPL3, OPN2 and OPNA sound chip emulations whereas discoDSP OPL is based on OPL2 (the exact chip from the classic Adlib and SoundBlaster cards). They are different.

I think it's new with build 1.3, 1.2 was unrestricted

The OPL3 emulation on ADLplug ( Yamaha YMF262) is the same as OPL2 (Yamaha YM3812) but just with double the FM channels, operators and waveforms

Which results into a much more complex to program and understand synth. Anyway, feel free to use what you consider best.

What about those who don't know how to compile though?
