SampleTank 2 installation and DP4

I am stumped. Reluctantly submitted support request to IK, but thought a try here might work faster.
I bought the Studio Bundle, installed ST2 and the first disk of sounds, opened DP4 and.... nothing new. No ST2 in the inserts (like OS9 and ST1). Only seletion available in new 'instrument track' is "unassigned". I should be getting an auth screen or the demo version or something other than nothing. Checked the various files the installer was supposed to place around the system, they're there. It just not showing up anywhere. Same with Amplitube and T-Racks. Am I missing something on the install? Feeling miffed.

I may have found my own solution from a post on OSXAudio.com.
...trashing the DP's 'Audio Unit Info Cashe' @ [username]/Library/Preferences/Digital Performer.
Will have to wait till tonight to test theory. No word from IK yet either

That sounds odd. Are you sure you installed them in the correct plugin folder?

Ahhhhh. Solved! It was that I forgot I had rebuilt my system after the "FinalCutProHD4.5-won't-stop-crashing-after-the-10.3.5-system-update" phenomenon had me go back to 10.3.4. So, on the rebuilt system, I must have only set DP4 up to 4.12 but didn't reinstall the 4.12 AU Update.
Installed that puppy and viola! AU Exam screen on DP4 startup. All is as it should be.
