Synths With Random Patch Generator Function

It isn’t software, but my new favorite random patch generator is the one in the DW-8P hardware editor for the Korg DW series. It has templates built in to produce random sounds tuned to specific categories, such as random bass, random pads, random leads, random bells, etc. It produces consistently usable results, and a lot more variety than I would have expected from such a limited synth architecture.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

I always think of FLS's Autogun when randomizing comes up. Problem is, it's too random. Unlike traditional synths, you never know where you're going to land because it has no standard preset list. But great sound when you do find something you like.
Also, not a synth, but XLN's XO drum sample player has a bunch of random functions that drastically change your rhythm sound at will.
Cheers

My conspiracy theory is that they all do but only some developers unlock it. That's how they come up with all the presets in the expansion banks they sell. Lol
"They've been making the same synth since 1897, they call it the synth."
