OPL and Scope are getting some love now so OB-Xd isn't updated that frequently. We will probably need to refactor the 2.0 parameter code again because JUCE XML is throwing a lot of assertions.planetearth wrote: Fri May 15, 2020 8:47 am Am I missing something? It looks like there haven't been any nightly build updates since May 10. I'm not trying to rush George, but I wanted to see if there was a newer version out there. (Thanks again, George!)

No worries, George. Thanks for letting us know, though.discoDSP wrote: Sat May 16, 2020 7:29 amOPL and Scope are getting some love now so OB-Xd isn't updated that frequently. New nightly builds https://www.discodsp.net/obxd-nightly/
Added g.setImageResamplingQuality(Graphics::ResamplingQuality::highResamplingQuality); to see if Windows users can see the resized 2x skins until I manage to implement a something like https://github.com/avaneev/avir for ultra high quality results
Also, used with XCode 11 instead 10 in macOS.
Cheers,
George.

Just tried the latest nightly build in Windows 10, and everything worked as expected. Tried all four skins, and all of them looked OK.discoDSP wrote: Mon May 18, 2020 6:36 pm New nightly builds https://www.discodsp.net/obxd-nightly/

Are there any other skins that you were not sure of working?

I still see a slight difference between Windows and macOS but if they are reported to be OK we can move to the parameter refactor, which is a heavy one but will get proper automation and preset compatibility between desktop and mobile.

Labels look blurry (especially in the blue and gray skins), but I didn't experience those draw errors that were reported a few days ago (that was what I meant).discoDSP wrote: Mon May 18, 2020 6:54 pm I still see a slight difference between Windows and macOS but if they are reported to be OK we can move to the parameter refactor, which is a heavy one but will get proper automation and preset compatibility between desktop and mobile.

Yeah that should change once we implement Voxengo’s high quality resizing algorithms. It will be acceptable in the meanwhile.

In case the developers are interested, there is a plugin validator (https://www.tracktion.com/develop/pluginval) that runs some tests. The VST2 version of OB-Xd passes all tests when I run it. The VST3 version has an issue with restoring the original bus state after making some changes.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I honestly hope you will never experience the burden of self-awareness.e-crooner wrote: Tue May 19, 2020 3:06 pm There will soon be two way superior emulations of that synth from Synapse Audio and Arturia, so what is the future of that free plugin, anyway?

It was a legitimate question.
I am quite aware of myself and happy with myself, thank you

This should be fixed once we implement Voxengo's image scaler.Vortifex wrote: Tue May 19, 2020 2:54 pm Just trying the nightly Windows build in FL. There's something off about the DiscoDSP Classic theme, the fonts and edges are slightly jaggy, it's especially noticeable if you look at the top of the dials. Overall the effect kind of off-putting.
