Well its a mono so sounds not particularly suited to dance music. Needs unison and at least full ADSR envelopes.Ingonator wrote: Sun May 17, 2020 5:38 pm Minimoog video by MrFirechild with some more unusual sounds for this synth:

For anyone wanting sound clips... it sounds like that!

The point io posting that video was not about what a Minimoog is suited for but what is possible with some proper recording tricks and/or good sound design.
This might be obvious but replicating Unison with a hardware monosynth is possible by recording an audio track, duplicating that multiple times and detuning those audio tracks. Another option is re-recording the same notes with a detuned version of the patch.
Besides that the Minimoog can create an Unison like sound by detuning the 3 Oscs.
The Legend plugin includes a dedicated Unison mode besides two poly modes (4 and 8 voices). It also has full ADSR envelopes instead of ADS (or ADSD).

Arturia seem to have one coming as well. I have a crossgrade offer in my account that includes obxa:

The timing of this seems awfully suspicious. Either way, it doesn't matter. It won't be as fraction as good as Synapse Audio's.

So there are no audio demos of this synth anywhere. We're just supposed to buy it on faith that it sounds good.
I don't think so.

Agreed. It might be a coincidence, but I doubt I'll ever actually believe it was a coincidence.
