This is my question because i'd like to know if a library like "Diva* for Bela D media could be loaded into a Kontakt player like Garritan personal Orchestra if you own it,

... or do i asbsolutely need to own a copy of Kontakt ?

It's my understanding that the player that comes with GPO will only play GPO.

I don't even think it will play Kontakt files.

The Kontakt, Kompakt, and Intakt players for GPO, Vapor, etc are tied to the specific sample sets, and will not load user-provided samples.

Kontakt and Kompakt (full versions) can load Kontakt sample sets. Some other samplers (VSampler, for example) can load some but not all Kontakt formats.
