FWIW the current video is a "teaser video" and nobody said it alraedy explains each and every feature that will be included in the plugin. OBsession offers a lot more "under the hood" than you can see from the teaser video.SLiC wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 10:02 amThank you Ingonator for trying to fill in the gaps....Ingonator wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 9:41 amThe voice edit pages besides several other parameters include a PAN parameter for setting the panning of a specific voice.
The "Spread" knob at the main GUI (like in the Arturia plugin) sets the amount of voice panning applied to the patch where with a value of 0 the voice panning is off.
I explained the X-Mod feature in 2 of my earlier posts from today.SLiC wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 9:26 am Arturia Oscillators’ continuous X-Mod modulation- is this the same as OSC 2 X Mod
So the spread is less flexible than the Arturia, no 'left/right offsets' on oscillator, filter, and LFO parameters then...this seems to be a killer feature to me at least on the Arturia version (especially on the filter).
As far as I can tell based on your description the 'X Mod' the Arturia synth has exactly the same feature.
I am not seeing anything yet to rival the '4 bi-polar digital function generators that you can route to any and every parameter on the instrument. Each of them are variable in length with up to 16 points' - This will be a very important feature for me to review for Synapse when they finally show it.
I like the built in effects in the Arturia synth especially the multimode filter... (and if you dont like them you can turn them off, but hey are good for 'stand-alone' use if nothing else as you can play it witout a DAW!). What can we expect from Synapse in this regard and will the FX be modulated by whatever modulation method is used?
concerning multimode filter you get a dedicated resonant Bandpass filter at the main GUI with 12dB and 24dB slopes like the LPF.
As you can see in the video theer is Step LFO. The teaser video shows a part of the the step editing section at the backpanel.
