Here is a summary of which advanced features (compared to a real OB-Xa) could be seen in the OBsession teaser video:
- Osc2 X-Mod (= Osc crossmodulation) knob
- Saw + Pulse waveforms in an oscillator can be activated at the same time
- Bandpass filter mode ("BP" button)
- 2 LFOs
- Step LFO (with step editing, step amount, One Shot and Filter Env retrigger at the backpanel)
- 8 "Voice Adjustment Edit" buttons (this also includes the voice panning adjustment)
- Spread knob (to adjust the voice panning amount for the patch)
- 8 "Activate/Mute Voice" buttons
- FX section
- one of the FXs has "Regen", "Shimmer" and "Dry/Wet" parameters
- "Organic" parameter
NOTE: As BONES already noted from now on us beta testers (including myself) should not really give informations that are going beyond was is shown in that video and/or in the list above. The tesaer video was not posted to reaveral all available features of the synth but to give a first impression.

Any beta tester able to tell if there will be a arpeggiator? This kind of synth so lends itself to having one.
I mean... I always could use the DAW included one as well, but... you know how it is.

Would be cool indeed.chk071 wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 12:05 pm Any beta tester able to tell if there will be a arpeggiator? This kind of synth so lends itself to having one.

But as you noted, most DAWs have an arp. I find myself using the Studio One arp a lot lately. It's a very cool one, actually reminds me a lot of Virus TI arp but it has some extra features the Virus one doesn't have

I just posted a list at this page about which additional/advanced features can be seen in the teaser video. At the moment i am not willing to give additional informations about the OBsession synth engine beyond that list or what i already posted here.chk071 wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 12:05 pm Any beta tester able to tell if there will be a arpeggiator? Yeah, the arp in Studio One is great. I use it all the time, even though I have Cthulhu, BlueARP and Kirnu Cream. All of those are a tad overkill most of the time though.recursive one wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 12:08 pmWould be cool indeed.chk071 wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 12:05 pm Any beta tester able to tell if there will be a arpeggiator? In case anybody cares. I've created a poll to help determine the extent of potential lost sales, if any.
