Hi,
Logic Pro is crashing as soon as I start it. (Logic Pro X 10.1.1)
Have been using it from 2015 until a few days ago, without this problem.
The only new event is that I installed Serum this morning.
I opened Logic, loaded Serum, tested it, worked fine, closed it.
I came back to it and tried to start Logic again a few hours later,
ever since then it's failing like a car that wouldn't start.
I have checked with Xfer Records, and the crash report and other info show no sign of anything related to Serum.
This is the crash report:

It would be great if you can share your thoughts on this.

another weird thing is that during the 3-sec loading before crashing,
it shows glimpses of plugins loading, and a project window (with filled piano rolls etc)
instead of the "open file" window, or an empty project.
Normally, when I launch Logic, it never opens a project like this.

Never used Logic, but that sounds like you've made some file a template that it tries to open with and fails. How about instead of launching Logic you launch a project file you know that works (hopefully that works in OSX - clicking project instead of app?) and if it works just see if there's some template set as default and delete it?99to100 wrote: Thu May 21, 2020 2:55 pmit shows glimpses of plugins loading, and a project window (with filled piano rolls etc)

That's not how it works. It's not your personal help desk. If you managed to solve the problem, the thread should remain for others with similar issue to find it and apply the solution.99to100 wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2020 2:21 pm I re-downloaded it from scratch and it works.
Thanks for your help.
