Hi, hope someone can advise.
Currently a cubase user and have a Roland TR8-S (I think it has 3x stereo outputs) and 5 korg volcas i need to get audio from and into cubase.
since i currently have an old Stenberg C1 audio interface and audio via an old tascam 2016 line mixer.was wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to go next, hopefully not too expensive, £300 budget but can do little more if needed.

thanks for any help and advice
Tony

the Behringer mixers offer a good bang for your buck, any idea what the latencies like via usb recording etc
just seen it has only 2 input into the DAW Stereo L/R, would be nice to have every channel as a separate chanel in cubase, Zoom seems to be able to do this, any others i can look at?
thanks again

I would keep the Tascam and buy a new interface with more inputs. Behringer UMC1820 is about 200 eur and you can get a2nd gen Scarlett 18i8 for 270 eur from Focusrite's store. Both have 8 inputs and via ADAT input you could add up to 8 additional channels at a later time. Behringer ADA8000 is probably the cheapest option for that. Used units sell for about 100 bucks. Though, there are other options in that price range as well.

thanks for the info itanever, ill lok into the focusrite, saw the 18i8 when previously scanning things, the tascam is starting to show its age, pots need cleaning, levels are all over the place, ok at the moment but i will need to replace soon i think.
thanks again
