looking for a Semi-Auto Sampler for sampling Hardware Synths and Keyboards.

Which one have you used and what are the pros/cons of those you used ?

the ones I found online are Samplerobot, Samplit and Extreme Sample Converter.
SampleRobot there are Multi-X vs Pro, but the feature comparison i snot clear enough on their website.
I'm looking for one that:
- creates loop points automatically
- at-least 4 velocity layers
- can sample every single key of 88 keys
Main Computer Specs: MacBook M1 Max, 32GB, 4TB, Cubase 13.

I'm thinking of creating one of these myself as an open source project, which would run in any DAW as a VST. (Running as a VST means that a lot of hard stuff is handled by the DAW, so I could focus on the workflow.) My primary use case is sampling digital pianos so that we can use them in a DAW without having the piano attached. Velocity layers, max sample length, and notes to sample would be configurable. I have other projects on deck at the moment, but that could change.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone knows of auto-looping that works well. Whenever I've tried it, it's used a cross-fade, which is unacceptable for the things I was sampling (piano, Rhodes, where a clear even tone is critical.) I would not attempt auto-looping myself, but if a good DSP guy wanted to code it I'd be delighted.

I didn't realize that EXSC would do auto-sampling. I'll have to give it a try. Sadly, the current download won't accept my license key, and they didn't reply to my email, so I only currently have the demo. At the price I wouldn't mind just buying it again, as I got my money out of it when I first got it back in 2006 or so.

Samplerobot is too expensive for my budget.

are there any other ones for windows, besides these 4 :
Samplit 2.1,
Extreme Sample Converter
ChickenSystems Translator
and
SampleRobot Multi-X

also what are exact differences between SampleRobot Multi-X and and Pro ?
Main Computer Specs: MacBook M1 Max, 32GB, 4TB, Cubase 13.

I'm using Translator's auto-sampler but doing the looping manually via Sound Forge's loop tuner. I don't trust an algorithm to do it.

nvm
