This is the best one I found, it was called 'Good Riddance' it was awesome, it contained a few steps all combined into 1 fluid stroke.
1.Opened Control Panel
2.Selected Programs and Features
3.Selected REAPER
4.Selected 'Uninstall
5. Selected 'OK'
Done, best script I ever used, and pretty much essential for me.
Life is so much better now . . . Thank You PreSonus and Studio One Pro

Yes! Besides the normal well known vst-plugins you can choose
out of a multitude of JS-effects. These are so many that it is
difficult to name any.
For instance there is a grafic multiband-equalizer in the
style of FabFilter or EQ8 in highest quality. Also there is
a dynamic-eq from Mr. Elwood. Also there are saturators,
clipper, ampsims etc etc ...

Go to the official REAPER forums and ask there: https://forum.cockos.com/
For me the first things I install on a new installation is the SWS and ReaPack extensions. ReaPack has nearly everything I use.

God, the anti-Reaper circlejerk on this site is unbearable sometimes.
To answer the question, this is a really good showcase of useful scripts: https://www.admiralbumblebee.com/ReaperScripts.html

that slicer looks very good and the ZenoMOD pack, handy if you have the plugins although I dont think a solution like this is as good as a well designed native modulation system - no fault of Zeno the developer, they have done something excellent with what is available. Same for the slicer - the issue is not the functionality of those scripts so much as the lack of consistent interaction across a program built from various components stuck together with little in the way of unifying design principlesDanilo Villanova wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 2:36 pm MK Slicer - lua script for quick slicing, quantizing and more

but, and again no fault of the user devs, I find it a little creepy that the best functionality in Reaper is free and basically subsidises the income of Cockos/Reaper. Without all that unpaid labor Reaper would not be anywhere near the DAW it is. If it were completely free all the way through then that's fine, but as it stands is strikes me as a bit exploitative. I dont think this is how it started out and I dont think it is intentional on the part of Cockos, but I do think it has turned out that way - making money out of user content is of course fundamental to the web economy, but perhaps needs to be challenged, and there are companies who provide marketplaces for the user generated extensions in a fairer way

your premise that Cockos are making money off unpaid labor is a bit flimsy, to put it charitably.fairlyclose wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 8:04 pmthat slicer looks very good and the ZenoMOD pack, handy if you have the plugins although I dont think a solution like this is as good as a well designed native modulation system - no fault of Zeno the developer, they have done something excellent with what is available. 1. people can do what they want with the fruits of their 'unpaid labor'. keep it on their hard drives, upload and distribute it for free, ask for donations, sell it - in which case, the money actually goes to the people who made the thing, because it's all done independently.
2. 'the best functionality in reaper is free' is just... wrong. if scripting didn't exist I'd still pick it over anything else for tracking or mixing. if I couldn't do that happily without scripts I wouldn't have touched it at all. scripts are a nice bonus.
3. I dunno what a native modulation system has to do with the slicer or zeno's mods, but in any case there are plenty of features in certain DAWs with a 'native modulation system' that are missing, and those features are more important to me. I don't really give a shit about unifying design features or LFOs-on-everything if the software doesn't let me freeze tracks or set up VCAs, for example. (sorry bitwig, I'm sure you're fun).
4. none of these things exist if reaper doesn't have an extensive scripting API. that's a feature. hell it has a little IDE built in to the software. that's a selling point for certain types of users regardless of whether or not currently existing scripts are any good, and it's definitely true for me - 90% of the scripts I use are things I wrote myself, the other 10% are code I stole off someone else and modified. wait a sec, that must mean I'm exploiting the labor of others

Scripters do what they do out of their own initiative, so presumably they enjoy what they do. The share it with us, which is nice, and sometimes they ask for donations. They use REAPER to do this because it's the only platform that provides them with the environment they need to do it. That's all there is to it.fairlyclose wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 8:04 pmthat slicer looks very good and the ZenoMOD pack, handy if you have the plugins although I dont think a solution like this is as good as a well designed native modulation system - no fault of Zeno the developer, they have done something excellent with what is available. All of these tools work great and are being actively used by many people without concern for their GUIs being "insonsistent" or anything like that.
The ZenoMOD pack is about alternative interfaces (Ableton Live style) for your plugins, nothing to do with modulation. It come with LOTS of interfaces for free JS plugins, not to mention REAPER's own ReaPlugs.
Don't wanna be rude but your post sounds more like "concern trolling" that an actual moral concern. I apologize if I'm wrong but I'm just baffled by the amount of people trolling every REAPER post on this site. I've never seen anything like it and it's quite toxic, in my opinion.

Been a long held view of mine that I have posted about, and taught about, over the last 5 or so years. The use of unpaid and cheap labour to subsidise software and online systems is a topic that has been raised by many people for many years.Danilo Villanova wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 1:23 am Don't wanna be rude but your post sounds more like "concern trolling" that an actual moral concern. As for people "choosing" to do this , understanding of both the psychology of motivation and the nature of exploitation has moved on a bit from that quite naive perspective
